Shaun Tracey is a lawyer, speaker and author of Don’t Shoot the Advisor. Shaun defends leading professional firms when they are sued by their clients. He has practised at Simmons & Simmons in London; first, as a commercial lawyer who negotiated private finance contracts, and later as a commercial litigator who specialised in defending City law firms.

During his eight years with Simmons, Shaun was also seconded to the professional indemnity claims department of Travelers insurance company. Shaun currently practices offshore financial litigation with Campbells in the Cayman Islands, whose recent successes include defending HSBC against a $2 billion claim brought by a Madoff feeder fund. As a speaker, Shaun delivers training seminars to professional firms to help them avoid litigation.
